Current Banten Region Food Prices: What's the Price of Chili Peppers?

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (28/6/2024) at 08.45 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, SPHP rice, medium rice, mackerel, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, skipjack tuna, milkfish, pure beef, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most, by Rp5,530 (16.04%) to Rp40,000 per kg. Shallots saw the sharpest price decrease, dropping Rp3,750 (11.11%) to Rp30,000 per kg.

2. Garlic Bulb: Rp40,000 per kg (up 0.28%)
3. Red Chili: Rp40,000 per kg (up 16.04%)
4. Mackerel: Rp37,000 per kg (up 4.34%)
5. Red Chili (Rawit): Rp35,000 per kg (down 0.37%)
6. Broiler Chicken: Rp35,000 per kg (down 6.19%)
7. Shallots: Rp30,000 per kg (down 11.11%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp30,000 per kg (down 7.58%)
9. Milkfish: Rp28,000 per kg (down 10.97%)
10. Broiler Eggs: Rp28,000 per kg (up 0.65%)
11. Granulated Sugar: Rp17,000 per kg (down 3.3%)
12. Packaged Cooking Oil (Simple): Rp16,000 per liter (down 5.83%)
