Latest Food Prices in Jambi: Chili and Rice Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (31/12/2024) at 17.52 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are broiler chicken, SPHP rice, premium rice, shallots, and garlic bulbs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, dry soybean (import), granulated sugar, red chilies, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most, by Rp3,330 (5.96%) to Rp59,210 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili prices decreased the most, by Rp1,890 (3.69%) to Rp49,280 per kg.
