Food Prices in Central Java Saturday (6/9): Red Chili Prices Up, Oil Down

Prices of several food commodities in Central Java today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (6/9/2025) at 14.28 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include medium rice, broiler eggs, broiler chicken meat, dried soybean seeds (imported), and pure beef.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as packaged cooking oil, premium rice, bulk cooking oil, mackerel, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Farmer-level corn commodity soared the highest by Rp76 (1.19%) to Rp6,449 per kg. The price of skipjack tuna dropped the sharpest by Rp476 (1.49%) to Rp31,500 per kg.
