Fresh Chicken Egg Prices at Modern Markets, May 2024-2025

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of fresh chicken eggs in Bali's modern markets is recorded at Rp40,200 per kg. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day, and similarly, there has been no change in price over the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, however, the daily price of fresh chicken eggs in modern markets has increased from Rp39,850 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of fresh chicken eggs in Bali's modern markets over the past three months has decreased by 2.55%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of fresh chicken eggs in Bali's modern markets was traded at Rp41,250 per kg.

The highest recorded price increase for daily fresh chicken eggs in the province's modern markets previously occurred in April 2023, with an increase of 249.85%, while the lowest decrease was also recorded in April 2023, at -71.42%.

PIHPS monitoring shows that today's prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in Bali show nine commodities decreased and 14 increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Grade 2 Beef, Beef, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2, Red Chili, Green Chili, Chili, Curly Red Chili, Large Red Chili, and Red Chili.
