Latest Bali Region Food Prices: Chili Prices Up, Egg Prices Down

Prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (13/9/2024) at 12.57 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include wheat flour (bulk), broiler chicken, skipjack tuna, red chilies, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, mackerel, milkfish, and broiler eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp1,710 (7.61%) to Rp24,170 per kg. Broiler eggs experienced the sharpest price drop, falling Rp230 (0.85%) to Rp26,750 per kg.
