The price of grade 2 beef in Central Sulawesi increased by 4.83% over the past week.

The price of grade 2 beef in Central Sulawesi reached Rp 191,000 per kg on Friday, March 4, 2022. Compared to other regions, this area saw the highest price increase in the last week.

According to daily commodity price data from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center, the price of grade 2 beef in Central Sulawesi rose 4.83% within a week.

Compared to the price 30 days prior, the price of grade 2 beef in this region increased by 15.62%. This signifies a significant surge within a month. In fact, compared to the last year's prices, this is the highest price ever recorded for grade 2 beef in Central Sulawesi's modern markets.

From January to March 2022, the price of grade 2 beef in modern markets continuously increased, rising 15.62% compared to the previous month.

The lowest price for grade 2 beef was Rp 165,200 per kg on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. The highest price ever reached was around Rp 191,000 per kg.

Nationally, the price of grade 2 beef began to decline towards the end of 2021. The average price of grade 2 beef in modern markets was Rp 149,300 per kg, down 0.53% compared to the previous weekend.
