DKI Jakarta Food Prices Today: Red Chili Prices Rise, Onions Fall

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (August 1, 2025) at 10.08 AM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include mackerel, curly red chili, garlic bulb, red cayenne pepper, and packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as consumption salt, milkfish, broiler chicken meat, consumption sugar, and packaged wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The curly red chili commodity increased the most by Rp5,000 (11.11%) to Rp50,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of dried soybean (imported) decreased most significantly by Rp9,600 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.

6. Garlic Bulb: Rp45.714 per kg (naik 2,93%)
7. Milkfish: Rp45.250 per kg (turun 0,41%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp45.000 per kg (naik 2,86%)
9. Mackerel: Rp44.375 per kg (naik 4,56%)
10. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp35.250 per kg (turun 3,57%)
