Bali Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down (Monday, January 22, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Monday (22/1/2024) at 15.12 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, simple packaged cooking oil, red chilies, skipjack tuna, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), shallots, red onions, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp3,010 (5.99%) to Rp53,220 per kg. Red onions saw the lowest price decrease of Rp1,400 (3.97%) to Rp33,840 per kg.
