Current Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Chili, Oil, and Rice Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (12/7/2024) at 12.25 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, bulk cooking oil, shallots, granulated sugar, and garlic cloves.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), red chilies, simple packaged cooking oil, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dry soybean (import) prices increased the most by Rp1,000 (9.09%) to Rp12,000 per kg. The price of skipjack tuna decreased the most by Rp2,800 (7.97%) to Rp32,320 per kg.

6. Milkfish: Rp39,040 per kg (down 3.13%)
7. Chicken Meat: Rp35,860 per kg (up 1.53%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp32,320 per kg (down 7.97%)
9. Mackerel: Rp31,850 per kg (down 5.57%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp28,880 per kg (up 0.87%)
11. Granulated Sugar: Rp18,790 per kg (up 0.54%)
