Denmark Open 2023 Prize List: How Much Did Bagas/Fikri (Men's Doubles) Win?

The 2023 Denmark Open concluded at the Jyske Bank Arena in Odense, Denmark, from October 17-22, 2023. This badminton tournament, a BWF Super 750 event, offered a total prize purse of US$850,000, or approximately Rp13.48 billion (assuming an exchange rate of Rp15,862 per US$).

Of the seven Indonesian representatives competing in the Denmark Open 2023, only the men's doubles pair Bagas Maulana/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri reached the final.

Unfortunately, Bagas/Fikri did not win the championship. They lost to the Malaysian pair Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik in the final on Sunday, October 22, 2023.

Following their defeat, Bagas/Fikri expressed their disappointment. "We are not satisfied with the results and our performance in the final. We are a little disappointed because we couldn't put up a maximum fight," said Fikri in a statement on the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) website on Monday, October 23, 2023.

Despite failing to win the title, the 2022 All England champions still received prize money.

According to the Badminton World Federation (BWF), as runners-up they received US$29,750, or approximately Rp471.89 million.

* Winner: US$62,900 per pair
* Runner-up: US$29,750 per pair
* Semi-final: US$11,900 per pair
* Quarter-final: US$5,312.50 per pair
* Round of 16: US$2,762.50 per pair
* Round of 32: US$850 per pair
