Central Kalimantan Food Price Update Today: Cooking Oil Price Up, Chili Price Down (Wednesday, January 24, 2024)

The price of several food commodities in Central Kalimantan today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (24/1/2024) at 13:58 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are chicken eggs, dry soybean (import), simple packaged cooking oil, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken meat, pure beef, shallots, red chilies, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dry soybean (import) experienced the highest price increase of Rp410 (3.13%) to Rp13,510 per kg. Meanwhile, red chilies saw the lowest price decrease of Rp3,470 (6.04%) to Rp53,980 per kg.
