Lampung Food Price Update Today: Cooking Oil Price Up, Chili Price Down (Tuesday, January 23, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Tuesday (23/1/2024) at 12:37 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 14 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, medium-grain rice, fine iodized salt, garlic cloves, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chili peppers, curly red chilies, skipjack tuna, simple packaged cooking oil, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of livestock-level corn saw the highest increase, jumping Rp140 (2.17%) to Rp6,580 per kg. The price of red chili peppers saw the lowest decrease, dropping Rp2,870 (6.59%) to Rp40,690 per kg.
