Aceh Region's Latest Food Prices: Chicken Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 13:13 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), SPHP rice, simple packaged cooking oil, granulated sugar, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), skipjack tuna, shallot bulbs, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken prices saw the highest increase, jumping by Rp490 (1.58%) to Rp31,530 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies experienced the steepest drop, falling by Rp2,930 (4.68%) to Rp59,640 per kg.

8. Layer Eggs: Rp26,960 per kg (up 0.97%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp26,560 per kg (down 2.67%)
10. Granulated Sugar: Rp18,410 per kg (up 0.49%)
