The daily price of green chilies at Modern Markets in South Sumatra Province has decreased by 36.14% over the last month.

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 08:23 WIB, the daily price of green chilies in modern markets in South Sumatra Province has not changed compared to the previous day, nor in the last week.

Regarding the price over the last month, the daily price of green chilies in modern markets has decreased from the previous record of Rp79,700 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of green chilies in modern markets in South Sumatra over the last three months has fallen by 23.17%. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of green chilies in modern markets in South Sumatra Province is traded at Rp66,250 per kg.

The record high for the daily price of green chilies in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in February 2017 with an increase of 395.78%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2017 with a decrease of -71.92%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in South Sumatra show 20 commodities decreased and three increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Fresh Layer Eggs, Curly Red Chilies, Beef, Chicken Eggs, Large Red Chilies, Red Chilies, Medium-Sized Garlic, Premium Quality Sugar, Green Chilies, Chicken Meat, Garlic, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, Shallots, Chilies, Sugar, Red Chilies, Fresh Layer Chicken Meat, Medium-Sized Shallots, Quality 2 Beef, and Cooking Oil.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to price developments over the last month in South Sumatra Province:

6. Chicken Eggs per Kg: Rp27,400 per kg (down 2.84%)
7. Large Red Chilies per Kg: Rp73,400 per kg (down 40.3%)
8. Red Chilies per Kg: Rp84,000 per kg (down 16.17%)
9. Medium Quality Rice I per Kg: Rp16,200 per kg (unchanged)
10. Medium-Sized Garlic per Kg: Rp46,200 per kg (down 12.67%)
11. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2 per Kg: Rp19,800 per kg (up 1.54%)
