Today's Food Prices (19/2) in Indonesia: Bird's Eye Chili Rises, Red Chili Falls

Some food commodity prices in Indonesia today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (February 19, 2026) at 14:23 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 6 decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken eggs, bulk palm cooking oil, red bird's eye chili, medium rice, and shallots.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as premium packaged palm cooking oil, wheat flour, Minyakita, bulk granulated sugar, and Honan garlic decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili prices jumped the highest by Rp496 (0.64%) to Rp78,235 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chili prices dropped the most by Rp2,846 (6.02%) to Rp44,415 per kg.

4. Large Red Chili: Rp44,415 per kg (down 6.02%)
5. Shallots: Rp41,233 per kg (up 0.37%)
6. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp41,178 per kg (up 0.24%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp36,858 per kg (down 0.05%)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp30,877 per kg (up 0.05%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp21,169 per liter (down 0.19%)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp18,117 per liter (up 0.03%)
11. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp17,794 per kg (down 0.03%)
