The average daily price of branded packaged cooking oil in traditional markets in South Sulawesi Province increased by 0.25% over the past month.

Latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of branded packaged cooking oil in traditional markets in South Sulawesi Province is recorded at Rp20,000. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day and the last week.

However, compared to the last month, the price of daily branded packaged cooking oil in traditional markets has increased from the previous record of Rp19,950.

Meanwhile, the price of daily branded packaged cooking oil in traditional markets in South Sulawesi over the last three months has increased by 0.5% from the previous trading price of Rp19,900.

The record high for the daily price of branded packaged cooking oil in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in June 2022 with an increase of 49.31%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in June 2022 with a decrease of -33.03%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in South Sulawesi show seven commodities decreased and 12 others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are Red Chili, Large Red Chili, Curly Red Chili, Rice, Medium Quality II Rice, Chicken Meat, and Fresh Chicken Meat.
