Daily Prices of Premium Quality Granulated Sugar in North Sumatra Province's Traditional Markets Increased by 2.33% in the Last Month

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of premium granulated sugar in traditional markets in North Sumatra province is recorded at Rp20,100. This price is up Rp150 compared to the previous day.

Over the past month, the daily price of premium granulated sugar in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp20,000.

Meanwhile, the daily price of premium granulated sugar in traditional markets in North Sumatra over the past three months has increased by 1.52% from the previously recorded price of Rp19,800.

The record high for the daily price of premium granulated sugar in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in December 2017 with an increase of 16.07%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in December 2017 with a decrease of -13.85%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in North Sumatra show three commodities decreased and 23 others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are fresh broiler eggs, fresh broiler chicken, and chicken eggs.
