Today's Food Prices in Banten March 20: Red Chili Rises, Bird's Eye Chili Falls

Some food commodity prices in Banten today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (March 20, 2026) at 15:46 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 3 decreased.

Commodities that saw price increases are beef rump, Honan garlic, curly red chili, and large red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as red bird's eye chili, chicken eggs, and bulk palm cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili prices rose the most by Rp416 (0.85%) to Rp49,583 per kg. Red bird's eye chili prices fell the sharpest by Rp625 (0.67%) to Rp92,708 per kg.
