Indonesia's Food Prices on Friday (4/4): What's the Price of Water Buffalo Meat?

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (4/4/2025) at 11:02 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, premium rice, pure beef, Indian mackerel, and table salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), granulated sugar, packaged wheat flour, medium rice, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Indian mackerel experienced the highest price increase of Rp725 (1.73%), reaching Rp42,583 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies decreased the most, by Rp3,865 (6.01%), reaching Rp60,489 per kg.
