Bali Food Prices Wednesday (4/12): Salt Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (4/12/2024) at 09.05 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, chicken eggs, mackerel, chicken meat, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), skipjack tuna, medium rice, bulk wheat flour, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The commodity with the highest price increase was livestock-level corn, up by Rp560 (10.45%) to Rp5,920 per kg. The largest price decrease was for skipjack tuna, down Rp1,830 (6.57%) to Rp26,020 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 21 food commodities in Bali according to Bapanas on December 4, 2024, at 09.05 WIB.

9. Red Chili: Rp25,970 per kg (up 2.85%)
10. Curly Red Chili: Rp18,290 per kg (down 4.69%)
