Daily Chicken Meat Prices at Traditional Markets, February 2024

Latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of chicken in traditional markets in Maluku Province is recorded at Rp42,100. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day and the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of chicken in traditional markets has decreased from Rp42,450.

Meanwhile, the daily price of chicken in traditional markets in Maluku over the past three months has fallen by 0%. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of chicken in traditional markets in Maluku Province is traded at Rp42,100.

The highest record of daily chicken price increases in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in September 2018 with an increase of 24.03%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in September 2018 with a decrease of -19.37%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Maluku show 13 commodities decreased and eight others increased. Basic commodities with price decreases include Garlic, Rice, Cooking Oil, Fresh Chicken, Beef, Super I Quality Rice, Inferior Quality II Rice, Red Chili, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, Medium-Sized Garlic, Quality 2 Beef, Keriting Red Chili, and Chicken.

The following are the prices of basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to price developments over the past month in Maluku Province:

7. Fresh Chicken per Kg Rp51,450/kg (down 1.91%)
8. Beef per Kg Rp154,950/kg (down 6.6%)
9. Super I Quality Rice per Kg Rp16,900/kg (down 1.17%)
10. Medium Quality II Rice per Kg Rp17,200/kg (unchanged)
11. Inferior Quality II Rice per Kg Rp16,700/kg (down 2.05%)
