Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region on Tuesday (24/9): Salt and Chili Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (24/9/2024) at 17.44 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are broiler chicken meat, chicken eggs, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, SPHP rice, medium rice, fine iodized salt, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,230 (5.85%) to Rp22,240 per kg. Curly red chilies experienced the largest price decrease of Rp670 (3.19%) to Rp20,360 per kg.
