Riau Food Price Update Today: Chicken Price Up, Salt Price Down (Friday, January 12, 2024)

Food prices in Riau today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Friday (12/1/2024) at 12:56 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, milkfish, red chilies, broiler chicken, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), granulated sugar, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), red chili peppers, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken prices increased the most by Rp750 (2.19%) to Rp34,930 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level decreased the most by Rp190 (2.42%) to Rp7,670 per kg.
