Aceh Food Price Update Today: Onion, Rice, and Egg Prices Increase (Wednesday, January 24, 2024)

Food prices in Aceh today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (24/1/2024) at 13.27 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), premium rice, bulk cooking oil, broiler chicken, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, skipjack tuna, red chilies, granulated sugar, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Premium rice saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp310 (2.15%) to Rp14,760 per kg. Shallots saw the lowest price decrease, dropping Rp1,590 (4.23%) to Rp35,990 per kg.
