The agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sector ranks first. In 2023, this sector contributed the largest share to the GRDP, reaching Rp3.68 trillion, with a growth of 0.61%.
Following this is the wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles sector, which grew by 8.34% to Rp1.78 trillion. The construction sector grew by 4.12% to Rp1.24 trillion.
Finally, rounding out the top five GRDP contributors in Bengkayang Regency is the public administration, defense, and compulsory social security sector, valued at Rp798.06 billion. According to BPS, this sector grew by 5.77% over the past year from its previous achievement of Rp726.2 billion.
