Bali Food Prices Monday (December 16th): Rice and Oil Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (16/12/2024) at 11.09 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 7 decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, dry soybean (import), pure beef, medium rice, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, shallots, bulk wheat flour, fine iodized salt, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest at Rp7,870 (23.86%) to Rp40,860 per kg. The price of milkfish decreased the most at Rp2,230 (5.76%) to Rp36,470 per kg.
