Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Chili Prices Up, Onions Down

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (September 4, 2025) at 09:52 AM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include bulk cooking oil, milkfish, Minyakita cooking oil, red cayenne pepper, and red curly chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, garlic bulbs, red onions, consumption sugar, and broiler chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Tuna fish commodity surged the highest by Rp2,667 (6.15%) to Rp46,000 per kg. Meanwhile, garlic bulb prices dropped the deepest by Rp1,230 (2.9%) to Rp41,182 per kg.

5. Tuna: Rp46,000 per kg (up 6.15%)
6. Curly Red Chili: Rp43,182 per kg (up 1.25%)
7. Red Cayenne Pepper: Rp42,273 per kg (up 2.66%)
8. Garlic Bulb: Rp41,182 per kg (down 2.9%)
9. Mackerel: Rp40,500 per kg (down 2.8%)
10. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp36,400 per kg (down 1.95%)
11. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp27,917 per kg (down 0.3%)
12. Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp20,727 per liter (up 0.1%)
