Price of Local Refined Sugar in Traditional Markets for the Period April 2025-2026

Based on the latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center (PIHPS) panel, the daily price of local refined sugar in traditional markets of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province is recorded at Rp17,300. This price has remained unchanged compared to the previous day and also over the past week.

Compared to the price over the last month, the daily price of local refined sugar in traditional markets has decreased from the previously recorded Rp17,550.

Meanwhile, the daily price of local refined sugar in traditional markets in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province has fallen by 0.57% over the past three months. According to historical food price records from the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of local refined sugar in traditional markets of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province was traded at Rp17,400.

The record increase in the daily price of local refined sugar in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in March 2020 with a 15.08% increase, and the lowest decrease was recorded in November 2019 with an 11.38% drop.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine staple foods (sembako) today in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province show that five commodities have decreased while eight others have increased. The sembako with decreasing prices are Beef, Grade 1 Beef, Shallots, Green Bird's Eye Chili, and Medium-sized Shallots.
