Daily Red Chili Prices in Traditional Markets of Central Kalimantan Province Have Decreased by 17.76% Over the Past Month

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of red chilies in traditional markets in Central Kalimantan Province is recorded at Rp60,650. This price is unchanged from the previous day and the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of red chilies in traditional markets has decreased from Rp73,750.

Meanwhile, the daily price of red chilies in traditional markets in Central Kalimantan over the last three months has decreased by 28.14%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of red chilies in traditional markets in Central Kalimantan Province was traded at Rp84,400.

The record high for the daily price of red chilies in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in November 2021 with an increase of 89.16%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2017 with a decrease of -23.2%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Central Kalimantan show ten commodities decreased and six others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Red Chilies, Curly Red Chilies, Chili Peppers, Red Chili Peppers, Large Red Chilies, Green Chili Peppers, Garlic, Medium-Sized Garlic, Shallots, and Medium-Sized Shallots.
