Food Prices Today in Bali: Eggs Up, Red Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (August 21, 2025) at 06:10 AM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include skipjack tuna, Minyakita cooking oil, medium rice, SPHP rice, and corn for livestock.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as shallots, bulk cooking oil, packaged wheat flour, large red chili, and broiler chicken meat decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel fish prices surged the highest by Rp11,154 (28.71%) to Rp50,000 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chili prices dropped the deepest by Rp7,859 (25.2%) to Rp23,333 per kg.

2. Mackerel Fish: Rp50,000 per kg (up 28.71%)
3. Milkfish: Rp40,000 per kg (up 7.46%)
4. Shallots: Rp40,000 per kg (down 3.61%)
5. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp37,000 per kg (down 2.63%)
6. Skipjack Tuna: Rp36,667 per kg (up 13.13%)
7. Red Cayenne Pepper: Rp33,333 per kg (up 2.2%)
8. Curly Red Chili: Rp31,667 per kg (down 9.52%)
9. Garlic (Bulb): Rp30,000 per kg (down 7.14%)
10. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp29,000 per kg (up 5.18%)
11. Large Red Chili: Rp23,333 per kg (down 25.2%)
12. Bulk Cooking Oil: Rp19,333 per liter (down 1.07%)
13. Minyakita: Rp18,000 per liter (up 1.1%)
