DKI Jakarta Food Prices Tuesday (Sept 30): Bird's Eye Chili Prices Rise, Red Chili Falls

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have risen compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (Sept 30, 2025) at 13:56 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities with rising prices include bulk wheat flour, medium rice, bulk cooking oil, skipjack tuna, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as shallots, large red chilies, packaged wheat flour, garlic bulbs, and broiler chicken meat decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna recorded the highest price increase of Rp2,604 (5.91%) to Rp46,667 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chili dropped the sharpest by Rp2,964 (4.62%) to Rp61,154 per kg.

7. Mackerel: Rp43,333 per kg (up 2.71%)
8. Shallots: Rp42,692 per kg (down 2.58%)
9. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp39,500 per kg (down 0.63%)
10. Garlic Bulbs: Rp39,308 per kg (down 3.29%)
11. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp29,214 per kg (down 0.03%)
12. Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp20,923 per liter (up 1.05%)
