Fresh Chicken Egg Prices in North Maluku Rise 15.04% in a Week

Fresh chicken egg prices in North Maluku reached Rp 45,900 per kg on Friday, February 18, 2022. Compared to other regions, this area experienced the highest price increase in the last week.

According to daily commodity price data from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center, fresh chicken egg prices in North Maluku have increased by 15.04% within a week.

Compared to prices 30 days prior, fresh chicken egg prices in this region have increased by 15.04%. This signifies a significant surge within a month. Furthermore, compared to prices over the past year, the current selling price of fresh chicken eggs in North Maluku's modern markets is the highest on record.

For the January-February 2022 period, fresh chicken egg prices in modern markets continued to rise, increasing by 15.04% compared to the previous month.

Fresh chicken egg prices reached their lowest point at Rp 39,900 per kg on Monday, January 3, 2022. The highest price ever reached was around Rp 45,900 per kg.

Nationally, fresh chicken egg prices began to decline towards the end of 2021. The average price of fresh chicken eggs in modern markets was Rp 29,480 per kg, down 1.64% compared to the previous weekend.
