Bali Food Prices on Monday (July 15th): What's the Price of Beef?

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (15/7/2024) at 15:55 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), fine iodized salt, pure beef, red chilies, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean seeds (import), chicken eggs, bulk cooking oil, shallots, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Fine iodized salt experienced the highest price increase, jumping Rp1,760 (17.56%) to Rp11,780 per kg. Shallots saw the largest price decrease, dropping Rp480 (1.92%) to Rp24,540 per kg.
