Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Chili and Sugar Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (18/5/2024) at 13.01 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are broiler chicken, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), chicken eggs, bulk cooking oil, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, mackerel, curly red chilies, pure beef, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of chicken eggs increased the most, by Rp420 (1.4%) to Rp30,390 per kg. The price of red chilies decreased the least, by Rp1,750 (4.02%) to Rp41,730 per kg.
