Bali Food Prices Thursday (May 16th): What's the Price of Chicken?

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday (16/5/2024) at 14.28 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, shallots, red chilies, livestock-grade corn, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, garlic bulbs, red chilies, mackerel, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp480 (1.16%) to Rp42,030 per kg. Skipjack tuna saw the lowest price decrease of Rp1,450 (5.53%) to Rp24,780 per kg.
