Today's Food Prices in Jambi March 12: Sugar and Garlic Prices Rise

Several food commodity prices in Jambi today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (March 12, 2026) at 1:26 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 1 commodity decreased.

Commodities that experienced price increases are bulk palm cooking oil, large red chilies, curly red chilies, medium rice, and red bird's eye chilies.

Meanwhile, only premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's price.

Curly red chilies had the highest increase of Rp1,848 (5.18%) to Rp37,545 per kg. As for premium rice, it decreased the most by Rp10 (0.07%) to Rp14,916 per kg.
