Bali's Food Prices Today: Chicken Prices Up, Red Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Thursday (17/4/2025) at 10:04 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 14 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, medium rice, dry soybean (import), SPHP rice, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, premium rice, Minyakita cooking oil, farmer-level corn, and curly red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of milkfish increased the most, by Rp6,861 (21.52%) to Rp38,750 per kg. The price of curly red chili decreased the most sharply, by Rp2,795 (4.94%) to Rp53,750 per kg.
