Today's Food Price Update in Banten: Egg and Beef Prices Rise (Saturday, February 17, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (17/2/2024) at 13.12 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, pure beef, iodized fine salt, red chilies, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken meat, granulated sugar, dry soybean (import), shallots, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,570 (16.46%) to Rp11,110 per kg. Milkfish had the lowest price decrease of Rp5,410 (16.72%) to Rp26,950 per kg.
