Today's Food Prices (16/12) in DKI Jakarta: Red Chili and Sugar Prices Drop

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Citing data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessities Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (16/12/2025) at 14:44 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 4 increased and 5 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include broiler eggs, Honan garlic, shallots, and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as curly red chili, red cayenne pepper, large red chili, bulk granulated sugar, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest increase of Rp350 (0.65%) to Rp54,150 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili prices experienced the sharpest decline of Rp800 (1.11%) to Rp71,500 per kg.
