Today's Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Oil Up, Red Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today were observed to be higher than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency's (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (July 28, 2025) at 17:56 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 increased and 6 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include bulk cooking oil, shallots, mackerel, Minyakita, and broiler eggs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as red cayenne pepper, skipjack tuna, packaged wheat flour, milkfish, and curly red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil saw the highest jump of Rp769 (4.17%) to Rp19,231 per liter. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chili saw the sharpest drop of Rp5,000 (10.0%) to Rp45,000 per kg.
