Latest Food Prices in West Kalimantan: Chili Up, Salt Down (Friday, January 19, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in West Kalimantan today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (19/1/2024) at 11:44 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, skipjack tuna, curly red chilies, garlic bulbs, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, simple packaged cooking oil, fine iodized salt, bulk cooking oil, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna prices surged the highest by Rp840 (2.27%) to Rp37,890 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish prices decreased the most, by Rp11,350 (32.87%) to Rp23,180 per kg.
