Poverty Rate Based on the ADHB (Indeks Desa Berkualitas) in Mamberamo Raya Regency by Sector in 2023

Mamberamo Raya Regency's 2023 Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices reached Rp2,143.49 billion. This represents a 2.99% growth compared to the previous year's Rp1,973.08 billion.

Compared to the COVID-19 pandemic year of 2020, the region's economic growth is significantly higher. Post-COVID growth at the end of 2020 was recorded at only 0.32%.

According to BPS (Statistics Indonesia) data, with a total population of 39,083, the GRDP per capita in this region is recorded at Rp55,480,000/capita/year. Nationally, this ranks 193rd.

Of the 17 sectors driving economic activity in the regency, the construction sector is the leading contributor.

The construction sector in Mamberamo Raya Regency is the mainstay, contributing the largest share to the 2023 GRDP with a value of Rp540.73 billion. This represents a 4.23% growth compared to the previous year's Rp471.99 billion.

The second largest contributor to the GRDP is the public administration, defense, and compulsory social security sector, which grew by 1.74% to Rp477.76 billion. The agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sector is third, with a GRDP of Rp404.08 billion (1.21% growth).

Rounding out the top five GRDP contributors in Mamberamo Raya Regency is the education services sector, valued at Rp106.8 billion. According to BPS, this sector grew by 4.69% over the past year from the previous year's Rp96.69 billion.

In terms of distribution, the public administration, defense, and compulsory social security sector contributed the largest share to GRDP growth in Mamberamo Raya Regency, reaching 23.18%. Other top five sectors include construction, agriculture, forestry and fisheries, wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, and education services.

Sectors with the smallest distribution include corporate services, financial and insurance services, electricity and gas supply, information and communication, and water supply, waste management, waste and recycling.
