Of the 17 sectors driving economic activity in the regency, the construction sector is the leading contributor.
The construction sector in Mamberamo Raya Regency is the mainstay, contributing the largest share to the 2023 GRDP with a value of Rp540.73 billion. This represents a 4.23% growth compared to the previous year's Rp471.99 billion.
The second largest contributor to the GRDP is the public administration, defense, and compulsory social security sector, which grew by 1.74% to Rp477.76 billion. The agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sector is third, with a GRDP of Rp404.08 billion (1.21% growth).
Rounding out the top five GRDP contributors in Mamberamo Raya Regency is the education services sector, valued at Rp106.8 billion. According to BPS, this sector grew by 4.69% over the past year from the previous year's Rp96.69 billion.
