Current Food Prices in Jambi: Rising Oil Prices

Food prices in Jambi today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Tuesday (25/3/2025) at 14:17 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include red onions, red chilies, medium rice, garlic bulbs, and large red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, bulk cooking oil, broiler chicken meat, bulk wheat flour, and farmer-level corn decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp4,500 (12.68%) to Rp40,000 per kg. Farmer-level corn experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp67 (0.96%) to Rp6,933 per kg.
