Daily Prices of Curly Red Chili Peppers at Modern Markets in Central Kalimantan Province Have Decreased by 6.72% Over the Past Month

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of curly red chilies in modern markets in Central Kalimantan Province is recorded at Rp80,450 per kg. This price is unchanged compared to the previous day and the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of curly red chilies in modern markets has decreased from Rp86,250 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of curly red chilies in modern markets in Central Kalimantan over the past three months has fallen by 26.02%. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of curly red chilies in modern markets in Central Kalimantan Province was traded at Rp108,750 per kg.

The record high for the daily price of curly red chilies in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in June 2022 with an increase of 74.72%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in May 2020 with a decrease of -43.21%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Central Kalimantan show 12 commodities decreased and four others increased. Basic commodities with decreased prices include Red Chili, Large Red Chili, Chili Pepper, Red Chili Pepper, Fresh Broiler Chicken, Curly Red Chili, Medium-Sized Garlic, Garlic, Medium-Sized Red Onion, Chicken Meat, Green Chili Pepper, and Red Onion.
