Latest Banten Region Food Prices: Chili Prices Up, Rice Prices Down

The price of several food commodities in Banten today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (22/12/2024) at 12.21 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, farmer-level corn, dry soybean (import), bulk cooking oil, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, bulk wheat flour, medium rice, simple packaged cooking oil, and Indian mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most, by Rp11,600 (23.12%) to Rp61,780 per kg. The price of milkfish decreased the most, by Rp1,810 (5.52%) to Rp30,970 per kg.
