Latest Food Prices in East Java: Chili, Oil, and Egg Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Friday (11/10/2024) at 12:21 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, shallots, bulk wheat flour, farmer-level corn, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chili peppers, garlic bulbs, medium rice, granulated sugar, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies increased the most, by Rp940 (5.23%) to Rp18,930 per kg. The price of mackerel decreased the most sharply, by Rp1,380 (4.1%) to Rp32,270 per kg.
