Branded Packaged Cooking Oil Prices in Gorontalo are the Highest in Indonesia (Friday, May 6, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of Rp 24,220 per kg for branded packaged cooking oil (type 2) in modern markets across several provinces as of Friday, May 6, 2022. Overall, the average price this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 24,070 per kg.

The highest daily price for branded packaged cooking oil (type 2) in modern markets was found in Gorontalo, reaching Rp 28,700 per kg, the most expensive in Indonesia. Compared to a month ago, the price in this province is lower; previously it was recorded at Rp 30,350 per kg.

Meanwhile, in West Papua's modern markets, branded packaged cooking oil (type 2) was sold at Rp 28,350 per kg, the second most expensive in the country.

Following these, the price of branded packaged cooking oil (type 2) was Rp 27,750 per kg in West Sumatra, Rp 27,550 per kg in West Kalimantan, and Rp 26,150 per kg in North Sulawesi.

Meanwhile, six provinces showed sales of branded packaged cooking oil (type 2) below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for branded packaged cooking oil (type 2) were North Kalimantan, Jambi, and Central Sulawesi.
