Bali's Current Food Prices: Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

Prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Monday (4/11/2024) at 14:18 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulb garlic, shallots, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), chicken eggs, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, granulated sugar, red chilies, milkfish, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp2,280 (8.88%) to Rp27,970 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chilies decreased the most, by Rp1,010 (5.55%) to Rp17,200 per kg.
