Indonesia Food Prices Tuesday (17/12): Beef Prices Up, Oil Prices Down

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (17/12/2024) at 09.34 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, broiler chicken, red chilies, premium rice, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), granulated sugar, red chili peppers, SPHP rice, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel prices surged the highest by Rp810 (2.16%) to Rp38,380 per kg. The price of packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) fell the most sharply by Rp250 (1.91%) to Rp12,820 per kg.
