Latest Food Prices in East Java: Salt Up, Onions Down (Saturday, December 2nd, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are monitored to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (2/12/2023) at 12:13 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 17 commodities increased and 3 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include cooking oil (curah), simple packaged cooking oil, shallots, milkfish, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, garlic bulbs, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase of Rp370 (3.83%), reaching Rp10,040 per kg. Meanwhile, garlic bulbs experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp250 (0.81%), reaching Rp30,610 per kg.
